Often regarded as the cultural and economic heart of the country, the city offers a blend of historical landmarks, fascinating museums, contemporary art galleries, and lively cafés. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a guided Johannesburg City Orientation Tour. Begin by passing through Rosebank and Houghton, an upscale suburb where Nelson Mandela lived during his retirement years. Continue past Constitutional Hill, a historic former prison complex that held political prisoners during apartheid, including Nelson Mandela. Drive past the iconic Nelson Mandela Bridge, which connects Braamfontein and Newtown. Proceed to Newtown, Johannesburg’s cultural hub known for its art spaces, markets, and creative energy, and visit Newtown Junction and Mary Fitzgerald Square, a well-known venue for cultural events, markets, and performances. Continue to Maboneng Precinct, a vibrant creative district famous for street art, galleries, cafés, and its young entrepreneurial scene.

Later, proceed for the Lesedi Cultural Village Tour to experience the traditions of South Africa’s Zulu, Xhosa, and Pedi communities. Explore traditional homesteads and learn about cultural practices such as lobola (bride price tradition). The experience concludes with a traditional dance performance at sunset followed by a Boma dinner experience featuring African cuisine, music, and storytelling. After breakfast at the hotel, check out and enjoy a private transfer to your lodge in Pilanesberg National Park. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon safari game drive.

Proceed for an early morning game drive in Pilanesberg National Park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend some time relaxing at the lodge before enjoying lunch. Later in the day, depart for an afternoon safari game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and landscapes. Return to the lodge for dinner.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed with a private transfer to Johannesburg Airport. Board your flight to George. Upon arrival at George Airport, you will be met and transferred privately to your hotel in Knysna. On arrival, check in and freshen up. The rest of the evening is at leisure, or you may explore the Knysna Waterfront or visit the Knysna Heads Viewpoint.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsitsikamma National Park, including visits to the Storms River Mouth and the Storms River Suspension Bridge.

This coastal region is one of the highlights of the Garden Route, offering exceptional natural beauty and a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, and marine life viewing. The area features several walking trails, with the most popular being the Storms River Mouth Trail, a short scenic walk leading to the iconic suspension bridge over the Storms River.

Later, proceed to Bloukrans Bridge, home to the world’s highest commercial bridge bungee jump at 218 metres. This adrenaline activity offers an unforgettable experience with spectacular views of the Bloukrans River Valley. The jump is operated with internationally approved safety systems and full-body harness equipment. Check out and proceed for a guided full-day excursion to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Cango Caves, where visitors explore impressive limestone formations through guided tours. Proceed to an ostrich farm for an interactive guided experience at a working farm. Later, proceed for a private guided Cape Town City Tour & Table Mountain excursion. Continue with an optional visit to the Castle of Good Hope, followed by a walk through the Grand Parade. Learn about District Six before visiting the Company’s Garden, a landscaped park in the city centre.

Continue to the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, known for its Cape Malay heritage and brightly painted houses. Pass key city highlights including the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay. En route, visit a diamond cutting workshop to learn about South Africa’s diamond and gold industry.

Proceed to Table Mountain, where you will take the rotating cable car to the summit (weather dependent). Enjoy panoramic views of Cape Town, the Atlantic coastline, and surrounding landmarks. On clear days, it is possible to see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, as well as Cape Point in the distance. Later, transfer back to your hotel.

Pick up from your hotel for a private guided full-day Cape Peninsula Tour. Drive through scenic coastal suburbs including Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps Bay, with a photo stop at Maidens Cove. Continue to Hout Bay for an optional boat trip to Seal Island to view the local seal colony.

Proceed along the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, with a short scenic stop en route to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, the southernmost tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Take the Flying Dutchman Funicular (two-way ticket included) to the viewpoint.

Continue to Boulders Beach, home to a protected colony of African penguins, where you can walk along the boardwalks and observe them up close. Later, visit Muizenberg Beach, known for its colourful beach huts and mountain backdrop, with a stop for lunch (at own expense).

Return to Cape Town via the coastal route in the evening.
